Travertine is een natuurlijk gesteente dat bekend staat om zijn unieke en warme uitstraling. Elk stuk travertine is met de hand gesneden en gepolijst om de natuurlijke textuur en kleuren te accentueren. Hierdoor is elk dienblad een uniek kunstwerk op zichzelf.

Let wel op! Door het natuurlijke materiaal dat wordt gebruikt, is elk MOOISA-stuk volledig uniek, daarom kunnen er verschillen en onvolkomenheden optreden zoals kleur verschil per accessoires. De gaatjes die in de woonaccessoires (kunnen) zitten zijn écht DE UNIEKE EIGENSCHAPPEN van travertijn. Dit kan dan ook geen reden zijn om het te ruilen voor een ander accessoires.

Het beste is eigenlijk zo weinig mogelijk met schoonmaak producten eraan komen, dan gaan de prachtige woonaccessoires het langste mee!

Travertine is een gevoelige, poreuze natuursteen en bestaat voor 90% uit kalk, hou dit in je achterhoofd bij het gebruik van de natuursteen accessoires. Dat betekend dat deze gevoelig is voor vetten en zuren.

1. Maak de producten schoon na ieder gebruik. Dit klinkt vanzelfsprekend maar toch merken wij dat niet iedereen dit doet. Wanneer je dit doet verklein je aanzienlijk de kans dat er vlekken intrekken. Let extra op met kruimels, zand of dingen dat kan schuren.
2. Travertine is eenvoudig te reinigen en te onderhouden. Met een zachte doek en een mild reinigingsmiddel kunnen eventuele vlekken of resten gemakkelijk worden verwijderd,
3. Gebruik alleen middelen die geschikt zijn voor natuursteen. Gebruik hierbij PH neutrale producten en vermijd ten alle tijden producten waar schuurmiddelen inzitten. Gebruik ook zeker geen producten waar middelen zoals citroenzuur inzitten.
4. Gebruik bijvoorbeeld HG natuursteen beschermer. Deze beschermt kalkhoudende natuursteensoorten tegen het indringen van water, vlekken, vuil en kalk.
