- Schoonmaken met een vochtig doekje! NIET TE NAT!
- Schoonmaken vanuit het hart (vanuit het midden) met de print mee.
- Schoonmaken met neutrale zeep.

- Warmtebron zoals een windlicht, theelichthouder op het blad Windlicht | Kaars erop: Dat kan héél goed, maar doe er een onderzetter onder of anti kras viltjes onder het windlicht! Of doe in je windlicht wat (vogel)zand of siersteentjes. 
- Het leer is niet geschikt voor dit hete bronnen zoals hete pannen.
